Most of the optional attachments function the same way in a 3D environment as they do in 2D cinematography, with the exception of close-up lenses, which are fundamentally different. In 3D cinematography, the close-up lens allows the camera to achieve convergence on the subject closer than what is possible without the additional close-up lens.

It also increases the common image seen by both lenses, thus reducing the amount of image loss commonly experienced in 3D close-up photography and videography. We recommend purchasing a high-quality close-up lens that corrects for chromatic aberration because a single close-up lens mounted on the FCA is used off-axis to achieve the aforementioned benefits.

Mit dem Cyclopital3D Stereo Base Extender (SBE) erreichen Sie einen größeren 3D Effekt, da die Stereobasis bzw. der Abstand der Objektive von 30mm auf 140mm erweitert wird. So können Objekte, die weiter entfernt sind, dreidimensional eingefangen werden.

Der 32mm Objektivabstand der JVC GS-TD1 und der JVC GY-HMZ1U Pro HD erlaubt nur eine vergleichsweise geringe Distanz zum aufzunehmenden Gegenstand. Um eine gute plastische Wirkung auch bei weiter entfernten Objekten zu erzielen, benötigen Sie eine Kamera mit einem größeren Objektivabstand (Stereobasis).

Durch eine Spiegelkonstruktion erhöht der Stereo Base Extender den Abstand der Objektive der JVC Kamera auf 140mm und erzielt auf diese Weise den gleichen Effekt. So können Sie mit diesem Vorsatz Objekte dreidimensional einfangen, die vier Mal weiter entfernt sind. Das naheste Objekt sollte dabei die Distanz von 4m nicht unterschreiten.

Für die Spiegelkonstruktion wurden qualitativ hochwertige Oberflächenspiegel eingesetzt, die eine sehr hohe Bildqualität garantieren.

By Increasing the Stereo Base (lens spacing) from 32mm to 140mm you can record subjects that are 4x further away while enhancing the 3D effect with increased depth! The Cyclopital3D Stereo Base Extender (SBE) is perfect for maintaining accurate depth portrayal when subjects are more distant from the camera, such as: wildlife, band or theatrical performances, weddings or portraits.

The 32mm fixed lens spacing of the JVC GS-TD1 and JVC GY-HMZ1U Pro HD limits how far away from the camera your subject can be while still achieving a high quality 3D photo that displays adequate depth. As you get farther away from
your subject parallax decreases, thus decreasing the 3D effect in the image.

The SBE uses perfectly aligned high quality front surface mirrors to effectively increase the stereo base from 32mm to 140mm. This lengthening of the stereo base allows you to get 4x further away from your subject while still maintaining an optimal level of parallax.

This SBE is only needed for subjects farther than about 4m from camera. It is important to remember that your subject should generally be the closest object in the scene. When using the SBE, objects in the
foreground closer than 4m could cause excessive deviation and make the image uncomfortable to view 3D, depending on the background.
